Role Summary: Minnovation is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Technical Engineering Intern to join our client's team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting for fixed networks (FTTH), WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) and IP products. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering team by assisting with a variety of technical tasks and projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop skills in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in providing technical support and troubleshooting for fixed network
(FTTH), WDM, and IP products.
• Participate in regular maintenance and performance checks on client
networks.
• Help develop technical documentation, reports, and training materials for
clients.
• Support the product development team by relaying client feedback and
suggesting improvements.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of network upgrades and
expansions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in fixed network, WDM,
and IP technologies.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by supporting timely and effective
technical assistance.

Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering,
Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of fixed network (FTTH), WDM, and IP technologies is a
plus.
• Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous internship or project experience in a related field is a plus but not
required.
• Knowledge of networking technologies and protocols is a plus.
