Position Overview

The Expert EV Auto Mechanic will be responsible for conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI), diagnosing technical issues, performing high-quality repairs, and ensuring all vehicles meet manufacturer and safety standards before delivery to customers. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in electric vehicle systems, including high-voltage batteries, drivetrains, and advanced diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities

🔧 Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI)

• Perform comprehensive PDI checks on new and pre-owned EVs.

• Ensure vehicles meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

• Conduct software updates and system calibrations.

• Prepare vehicles to showroom and customer-ready standards.

⚡ EV Diagnostics & Repairs

• Diagnose and repair high-voltage battery systems, inverters, and electric drivetrains.

• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems using advanced diagnostic tools.

• Perform mechanical repairs, suspension work, brake systems, and HVAC systems.

• Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines.

🛠 Technical Expertise & Compliance

• Follow strict high-voltage safety procedures.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EV technology advancements.

• Document all repairs and service activities accurately.

• Support junior technicians with technical guidance when required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an EV Auto Mechanic (minimum 3–5 years preferred).

• Strong expertise in high-voltage systems and EV diagnostics.

• Certified in high-voltage safety (NEN 9140 or equivalent preferred).

• Experience with PDI processes and manufacturer standards.

• Ability to use advanced diagnostic software and tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Valid driving license (Category B).

• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
